About

I help good companies stop sounding like everyone else.

Nakashima Strategy is a founder-led positioning consultancy based in the UAE, working with established B2B service firms.

01 / Why positioning. Buyers don't pick the best firm. They pick the one they understand. Most B2B firms don't lose deals because their service is worse. They lose because buyers can't see the difference, so they default to price. Positioning is the distinct, valued space your firm owns in your customers' minds, relative to the alternatives. It's the difference between being a vendor and being a partner.

02 / Why B2B service firms

Services are the hardest thing to tell apart.

A service can't be inspected before it's bought. So every firm promises quality, experience and reliability, and the buyer has no way to check. A clear position, backed by evidence from real customers, is the fastest route to being trusted before the first meeting.

03 / Background

Eight years on the marketing side of the table.

I started as a B2B copywriter, then ran social media, managed client accounts and worked as a marketing strategist across digital lead generation and brand strategy. I hold an MBA in Marketing. My positioning method draws on established frameworks, combined with structured market and competitor analysis.

Previously agency-side on: Schneider Electric (Multiple verticals) · APC · Kanoo Group · Ecolab

04 / What I believe

What I believe

01
Sameness is a market problem, not a copywriting problem.

Better words won't fix a position nobody has decided.

02
Position first, everything else after.

Messaging, brand and marketing are only as good as the decision underneath them.

03
Evidence beats opinion.

The answer comes from your customers and your market, not a workshop.
